Juror: Freda Sue
A Taiwanese native, Freda Sue’s work explores her cross-cultural identity through a fusion of Eastern and Western artistic traditions in printmaking, painting and installation. Her work is exhibited internationally, from the cultural hub of Tavernes de la Valldigna in Spain, to the dynamic streets of Tainan and Taipei and New York City. Sue serves as an Assistant Professor and the Foundations Coordinator at the University of South Carolina Upstate in her adopted home of South Carolina. She earned her MFA from the Savannah College of Art and Design, and is an active member of the Contemporary Print Collective and the Taiwan Society of Printmaking.
